The Hotel Schwertfirm is a modern, family-run hotel in Karlsfeld, at the gates of Dachau and the cosmopolitan city with a heart, Munich. Our location in the north of Munich is an ideal starting point for excursions and errands in Munich and the surrounding area. The Karlsfelder lake and the neighboring town of Dachau invite you to take regular excursions. Important places, such as the Munich Trade Fair or the city center, can be reached in 20-45 minutes, depending on the traffic situation. Other major Bavarian cities and economic centers, such as Augsburg, Landsberg or Landshut, are less than an hour’s drive away.
